If you have made a digital picture frame that's unique and innovative and you'd like to show it off, e-mail me a picture, a description, and a link to your own website. I'll post pictures and links on this page to show off readers' creations.

Thank you, Marlon, for contributing this project. He uses an old Acer TravelMate to fashion his DPF. He takes advantage of the fact that this is just a computer at its core and uses it for things besides displaying pictures. This project requires minimal disassembly. I love the homemade insulated fasteners! Great job.

Thanks, Alex, for contributing this beauty. He calls it Project DigiFrame and built it from a Compaq Armada, which is one of the thickest and heaviest laptops out there. I had one for a while. He uses a CompactFlash card in place of a conventional hard drive. Beautiful result!

Thanks, Sam, for contributing this interesting design. Sam used two separate frames to solve the problem of "Where do I put all the components??" and with good results. He ended up with an interesting hinged design. The LCD is actually a touchscreen. Really, a great project!
